About the Artist

Jamie is a middle school student who is passionate about drawing.  Her drawings can be found on Post-It notes, homework papers, test papers, binder papers, notebooks, sketch books, and even Ziplock bags. She will draw at school (frowned upon by her parents and grandparents), at home, in the car, and at restaurants.    Her favorite artist is Hayao Miyazaki, a Japanese manga artist, and her favorite character is Totoro.

      Thank you so much for writing on her blog. It was definitely a good experience for her to draw in public. She was really nervous but I think she had a good time. Thank you for the encouragement! Your website is very inspiring and the sculptures are amazing!
